Wine Spectator Award

We’re proud to announce that Paesano Restaurant has once again received the AWARD OF EXCELLENCE for our wine list from Wine Spectator magazine for. The announcement appeared in a recent issue of the publication.

Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Wine List Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers. 

We have a couple of exciting wine events coming soon. On Sunday, September 12th, from 2:30p to 4:30p, we’re pleased to welcome Count Sebastiano Capponi to Paesano.  Few guests have been as gracing as Count Sebastiano to join us for an afternoon of wine, Chef Isabella’s Tuscan antipasti buffet, and hearty discussion. Cost for the all-inclusive event is $35 per person. Reservations please.

Just announced - we’ve scheduled a special fall wine dinner featuring Cal-Ital wine producer Bacio Divino on Wednesday, October 6th @ 6:30p. Located in Napa Valley, overlooking Dutch Henry Canyon and the town of St. Helena, Bacio started producing its delicious big wines in 1993. Watch for more details.

Wine Always Helps Whining

Our Wednesday Wine Tastings continue next week July 21, when our old friend Chaad Thomas of U.S. Wine imports joins us and presents a few never seen before wines from some of Italy’s smallest family producers. 

Then on July 28, Kurt King of  Vintage Wines co-hosts the tasting. 2 Cool WIne Tastings

We have 2 exciting Wednesday Wine Tastings coming up.  This Wednesday, June 30 we will feature Jyoti from Skandis Fine Wines and a few never seen before Italian wines from the smallest family producers. 

Then, next Wednesday July 7th, we’ll host Jean-Jacques Fertal, owner and operator of Eagle Eye Imports.  Right after the Wine Tasting ends (7pm) our Jazzy Wednesday on the patio will begin until 9pm with the sounds of the Doug Horn Trio.

Movies on the Patio

We start our summer movies on the patio this Saturday night with a classic - “Roman Holiday” starring Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn.  Enjoy a glass of wine, some appetizers, or come for dinner and a show.  Our web site has the list of films through the summer.  It’s like the drive in without the dust.  Popcorn provided and reservations preferred.  Free movie starts at dusk.

Join Us for Jazzy Wednesday

Starting June 2 and then the first Wednesday of the month until October, we’ll be hosting live Jazz on the Patio with the Doug Horn Trio. Music starts at 7pm after our weekly Wine Tasting and ends at 9pm.  Come for both and make a night…wine, dinner, and live Jazz!

Wines of Distinction Wine Dinner

On Thursday, May 20 @ 6:30pm we will be hosting a late spring wine dinner featuring Michael Korn of Wines of Distinction and J&J Importers.  He will be presenting the Italian “Wines of WorldWide Cellars”.

Join us for an Italian Spring Fling as Chef Isabella matches a multi-course dinner with some of Italy’s finest new wines from our friends from Wines of Distinction. Reservations are now being taken.  This wine is really cool and his wines are awesome - don’t miss it.

The first two Wine Tastings in May will feature some new faces in the Paesano wine world. Wednesday, May 5th will feature Art Lokar of Executive Wine Partners (the new wine guy in town).  Then on May 12th, our old friend Chaad Thomas of U.S. Wine Imports (just back from the VinItaly Wine Show), will join us with special guest Italian vintner Dimitri Pintar, owner of Villa Rubini Winery, one of the oldest wineries in Italy.

Wednesday Wine Tastings
